Last Thursday I made my way down to Westfield to see Rihanna switch on the Christmas lights. A decision that actually wasn’t easy as a few miles away, Oxford Street’s lights were due to be switched on at the same time.
Poor George Lamb was loudly booed by the crowd as he came on stage for some unknown reason (as you will notice in the video). He didn’t know how to react at first. A few months ago we both attended a party and I got to speak with him for a while. He really was a nice guy – softly spoken and very polite, so it did make me feel bad for him when he was booed on this occasion. Didn’t deserve that.
Rihanna looked really good. Must admit that I never really understood the appeal until I saw her in person. She’s definitely quite cute – not just in appearance but in personality too. I warmed up to how affectionate she was around children – caressing numerous faces and paying extra attention to them. Her bright red hair really suits her and looks much better in person than it does in the photos. I never liked her short hair – she looks much better and more feminine with the length she has now.
Enjoy the video I made! Make sure you watch it in 360p mode if you have a slow/normal internet connection and 720p mode if you have a fast internet connection for the best video quality.
