I do not think very many people need an introduction when it comes to this fine lady. Most people will recognise her as being a former top model, actress and the former wife of Rolling Stone frontman, Mick Jagger. Truly an iconic figure, by the time she had reached 21 she had been on over 40 magazine covers – most notably Vogue and Cosmopolitan.
She has a new book out and from its title, “My Life in Pictures” it is easy to guess what it is all about. Vogue magazine describes it as: “Candid photographs of family life with Mick Jagger and fashion shoots with Bailey, Horst, Newton and Parkinson serve as aide-memoires for Hall’s revelatory recollections“. Yesterday she made a public appearance at Selfridges in London to promote it and I made my way down there. I grew up reading so much about her so it was fantastic to be there. It is a pleasure to report that the event did not disappoint as she was extremely approachable with her warm demeanour, constantly smiling as if you were a personal friend. As you will see from the video I made, Jerry looked wonderfully pleased to meet her fans.
