A really good friend of mine, Lizzie Lunn, who works at Very.co.uk had asked me over to come for the Spring/Summer 2012 sneak preview. I am always excited about seeing what will be available in the months ahead before they are available to buy and was quite glad I went. The moment I walked through the doors to the showroom, there were heart shaped balloons and waiters handing out food and drinks. The dresses, skirts, tops and shoes were well worth seeing and I loved the collections by Diana Vickers, Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton. I actually felt quite envious of women because they have so much variety to choose from and have so many wonderful clothes coming their way early next year. My favourite pieces included a skirt made out of large sequins, the Diana Vickers white ruffled top with a black bow, the teal quilted jacket and also the beautiful red dress with white Peter Pan collar by Diana Vickers. Later on, many of my friends and I took part in a fun photo shoot which involved using props. We all enjoyed it tremendously and laughed so much that we never wanted to leave. I went to this Press day event with the intention of staying no longer than 45 minutes but ended up staying over 2 hours. It was madness but all worthwhile!
