It has been quite a week, and I sometimes often wish that we had many more hours in a day. With London Fashion Week so near (starts tomorrow), there has been so much I have been needing to do. Far too much. I know people are against human cloning but I do wish I had a double of myself. That said, I am super excited and have been thinking up outfits to wear. I wrote recently how the one area most men tend to neglect is shoes. So many men will wear the most horrible shoes known to humankind but the worst thing for me, is when they wear poorly neglected smart lace-ups shoes. They are of the dirty, battered, abused variety. I really look after all of my formal and smart-ups – polishing them regularly and even using shoe trees made from solid cedar wood.
I recently saw these truly marvellous pair of brogues at a store on South Molton Street and desperately wanted them! They are part of the spring and summer 2012 collection. It’s quite not easy to find a good quality pair of brogues, particularly in a reddish colour. I love love the blue laces too! I feel quite lucky because when Bertie found out how much I love them, they send me a pair as a gift to wear during London Fashion Week. These will be worn a LOT in the months to come, so thank you Bertie, I am grateful!
