I remember when I first encountered The White Pepper. It was back in 2012, in Birmingham at The Clothes Show. The PR for the clothing event had invited me to spend the day there and experience it for myself. Amongst hundreds of stalls, I came across The White Pepper and took a liking to the east London brand straight away. Each and every product you come across has a distinctive look – created through quirky, fun and cute designs. My God, it has certainly come a long way since the days it began life on the ASOS marketplace. It has really grown enormously and I was delighted to be meeting the team again when it had invited me to celebrate its spring and summer 2015 collection and the launch of its new magazine. The party kicked off last week at its brand new studio space, and wow what a beautiful home it is. The studio space has a showroom, office and photo studio all under one roof.
For the spring 2015 season, the collection is inspired by delicate elements of children’s clothing and summer is all about escape, and embarking on a Nordic retreat.
