Yesterday dancers from The Royal Ballet were at the APPLE store in Covent Garden. I love ballet and always have. I know many men look down on it and consider this particular form of dance quite “unmanly” but I do not care. I have never been one to follow the pack. For me, there are only a few things in the world that can rival the beauty and grace of ballet. I greatly admire the dancers for their discipline and the painstaking work they do to hit the highest level. Anyone who has seen “Agony & Ecstasy: A Year with English National Ballet” on BBC4 will have an idea how dedicated they are.
Led by the lovely smiling choreographer Kristen McNally, the dancers were promoting a new dance work set to contemporary music which was quite fascinating to watch. We got to see them practice and see how dance performances are put together. We loved them! There were loud, enthusiastic cheers and roars from the audience.
