She stood out in her bright orange coat. Almost like a beacon in the dark. I told her I loved the colour of her coat. “It’s from H&M,” she said straight away without hesitation even though we were at the Burberry AW12 venue where majority of those attending were decorated in expensive designer clothes. I was quite surprised but pleasantly so. I love my designer clothes and have many but I love women who are grounded.

I love this outfit! Her shoes are so cute too, they remind me of victorian school children shoes!

Her bag matches her hair and I like how minimal her accessories are xo

Me too, and it works really well. That’s usually the difference between someone who knows how to dress well and someone who doesn’t. Many people who don’t, tend to compensate by wearing lots of accessories. Pulling off a simple look requires talent, and she has it.

You are right – they are indeed remarkably similar to the types the Victorians wore! By the way, is your website address correct? It doesn’t work.

Couldn’t agree more! There is totally nothing wrong with admitting something is from H&M… there are gems to be found in all sorts of places.
LOVE THIS LOOK. She is a genius. The colour with the pattern underneath is beautiful… next to her hair it’s even more striking. Plus, she’s wearing it with a simple grey jersey dress (holy crap, there is nothing i love more in the world than some good grey jersey). This girl looks awesome. xx
