Selfridges’s new window displays, BRIGHT young THiNGS – January 2011

They are up and ready to be viewed! The first brand new look for all of Selfridges’s windows in 2011. The theme is “BRIGHT young THiNGS” where the department store has handed over its famous windows to the fashion stars of the future, using the names of exciting new talented stars of fashion and art, featuring work by Kirsty Ward, Craig Lawrence, Simone Rocha (daughter of designer John Rocha), Frances Conteh (Knitwear designer), Lilee, Alex Noble (designed the lace bodysuit Lady Gaga wore to the Brit Awards 2010), RP/Encore (jewellery), Kei Kagami (shoe designer), Sophie Stephens (the brains behind Henry Holland’s cheeky t-shirt collection) and Charlie Le Mindu.

From Selfridges: “Selfridges has given 20 of 2011’s brightest young stars the gift of a window to the world – a giant calling card that will be seen by over one million people every week. Each of the designers have made exclusive pieces for Selfridges, which will be sold in pop-up-shops both in store and online.”
