I heard so much about the so-called Nike Stadium at Selfridges last month and was eager to see what it was all about. What a brilliant idea. With so many games there must be a lot of men who don’t want to miss some (perhaps even all) the world cup matches and I can just picture a lot of wives and girlfriends pushing to get them out of the home. With so many pubs and outdoor venues out there showing games, Selfridges have come up with their own solution if you want to go shopping without risking missing a match – the “Nike Stadium”.
Beautifully constructed, with 65 screens in total including the giant HD screen and brilliant surround sound, it is the perfect place to watch live games and highlights along with other football fans. Soak in the world cup atmosphere. Also included is a games room and a locker room. I have seen some games there already. It’s well worth checking out. Perfect if you are a male or female and would like to combine football with shopping.
