Two days ago I participated in a very special event with Regent Street as it hosted the world’s longest catwalk all afternoon. It truly was an honour to be on the judging panel alongside Caroline Rush (Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council), Damian Whitmore (V&A Museum’s Director of Programming), Paul Cavalier (Owner of Nevs Model Agency) and Nick Carvell (Fashion Editor at British GQ magazine).
There were several time slots from 1.30pm until 5pm in which the catwalk shows took place, and each judge picked one favourite look from each show. I was delighted with the winners I chose. It was an afternoon of brilliant fun for all those who chose to walk the 100m purple carpet ramp, to show us all the outfits they wore, and I know the spectators really enjoyed watching as they cheered them on with us. I was so pleased to see people of all ages play along.
It was a day to remember and I hope to see it return again in the future. Thank you to all those who were there, for making it so wonderful!
