I felt like a change after spending months wearing bow ties nearly every single day. I think I will be wearing them less frequently as I want a change and a new image. Last week I wore a tie perhaps only for the second or third time this year, and it felt really good to do so. I plan on wearing ties much more frequently in the future. Excited. I love change.
Now it is getting much warmer, I must confess I really do not know how to dress down. Last Wednesday the temperature had reached 27 degrees Celsius in London, yet I wore 4 layers of clothing: a t-shirt, a shirt, a merino wool v-neck jumper and a blazer on top. People thought I was out of my mind and well, I cannot say I blame them. I did make an effort the next day though, by opting for a simple t-shirt, blazer jacket, jeans and Converse but I regretted it as I did not feel like myself. I did get a few compliments by a few people I had met on the day at the Danilo Gabrielli catwalk show and party I had attended at The Cavendish Club but it was only a small consolation.
What do you think of the herringbone pattern on my shirt? When it comes to garments, I always love the little details. Herringbone is an old favourite. Later this week I hope to have a hair cut as it is just too long now!
Oh, and please excuse the ladder. I had been re-decorating the room.
