I am all too aware that it is not the norm for men to be into shoes. However, it is fair to say I am certainly not your typical male as I do quite gleefully love shoes. As with women, I do not think men can have too many. You need a wide variety of options for your outfits and shoes play a big part. Unfortunately it also the one area most men neglect. Next time you are out on the bus, train or street – take a look a look at the footwear most of the men are wearing and you shall see what I mean. Quite frankly, it makes me embarrassed to be a man sometimes. Even majority of the wealthy gents in suits, who work in the city wear poorly neglected laced-up shoes which are either battered or dirty. I really don’t get it. They spend £200+ on shoes by Church’s and then do not make the effort to keep them clean and polished?! Converses can look great when battered and dirty but not formal shoes! Anyway, back to my new Converse hi-tops. Post-Christmas really is the best time to hunt for bargains and I was fortunate to spot these for half-price (down from £80). The stars are actually embroidered – they are not prints. I cannot wait to wear these!

Ooh they’re beautiful!
I adore Converse – once you’ve bought a pair it becomes quite the addiction!

As Patsy Stone says “you can never have enough hats gloves and shoes” and that works for guys aswell ;) I know what you mean… whats the point in being dressed to impress when your shoes are filthy, it completely ruins and outfit, like creases do. Love these converse, I want a pair :)

Precisely, and you will definitely notice that it’s the one area men usually neglect – even if they dress up well!
