It was a dream come true. Back in March I was sent a personal invite by a very charming woman from Christian Louboutin to come and view the very new collection which will be released to the general public in a few months. I was very excited to be going and the little party we had did not disappoint. We sipped drinks, shared jokes and then talked about shoes and more shoes. I certainly felt like a child inside an amazing toy factory, just wanting to see and touch everything there. The new shoe collection has perhaps more variety than I have been before. There were prints in tartan and leopard – we will also be seeing some bows and lots of spikes. Neon colours are being embraced everywhere at the minute and you will be seeing neon furs on Louboutin shoes next season! The men will be getting leopard prints and large bows on their shoes. Now you may think bows would look ridiculous on a pair of gent’s shoes but when you actually see them you may feel differently. I personally loved them!
No photos were allowed to be taken of the autumn winter 2012 collection as things are being kept tightly under wraps for the time being but I did get to take plenty of snaps of the products from the 20th Anniversary Capsule collection. These are all available to buy right now from Christian Louboutin boutiques.
These bow bows are quite magnificent. I just love how they look sophisticated. Perfect for a big dinner or party night out.
I am a big fan of flat shoes on women. Wearing heels all of the time really is not good for your feet, and must be painful. Balance is the key, so flat shoes are ideal. I truly love these Pigalove pair in the nude colour and patent leather. Adorned with tiny jewels, these are amongst my very favourite pair in the collection.
Below are Pensee shoes, and the official word is that this is the shoe that inspired the red sole. I love the big flower which is inspired by the 60s. Cute. Perfect for this floral season.
I had SO much fun.
Getting back to the autumn and winter 2012 collection, the men’s range really excited me because unlike most brands out there producing men’s shoes, Christian Louboutin is not afraid to experiment with a range of colours, prints and designs. This is music to my ears. It’s time for me to start saving up for a pair!

Louboutins are shoegasms: FACT. They’re all so pretty and I love some of the unique styles, especially the snakeskin heeled booties. Shame you couldn’t take pictures at the actual press day though.

Looking at all them beautiful shoes, I’m now glad I wasn’t there, I would have been tempted to hand over a handful money for some CLs!
Lovely post as always :]

They really do seduce you, and the men’s shoes are really quite something as well! Hopefully near the release date I will be able to post some images! :]

*laughs* I don’t blame you! I want a pair too – from the men’s! And thank you! :]

Love the shot of you with the shoes! So stinking cute! I have to say lots of the style are a bit too much for me… but I would die over a pair of classic black Louboutins. There is something so freaking sultry about those red soles! xx
