Fashion Foie Gras Tote for Coach launch party!

Over the past few weeks I had read so much about the Fashion Foie Gras Tote and was very excited about getting to see it in person. I have only known Emily (Editor and Founder of the wonderful Fashion Foie Gras blog) for a short while now but in that time I have grown very fond of her. When I met her for the first time, she was kind enough to give me some guidance and tips on how to get further with blogging. It is something I will always be grateful for. When she sent me an invite for the Fashion Foie Gras Coach Tote party, I was quite excited to be going because it was an opportunity to support her on her very big night. I told her I would not miss it for the world and meant it.

On the evening of the party, I was overwhelmed by how busy it was inside the venue. The sheer number of bodies showed that many people care about Emily. The atmosphere was highly enjoyable, with smiles and grins seen all around. The waiters were well dressed and some looked like models (and probably were). Drinks flowed all throughout the evening. Spirits were high. I met many of my friends there who work in the fashion world – it was great seeing them. I remember Emily telling me it all felt so surreal. I pinched her arm gently. No, you did not dream it all, Emily. It really did happen – you designed, and have your own Coach bag named after you! Congratulations! The next day, I was still buzzing about it.

The Fashion Foie Gras Tote by Coach is much bigger than I expected. I had this image in my head of it being the size of an x-large handbag but it is actually a good deal larger. I loved the details on it. The stitching is beautiful. The colours and design on the tote really makes it pop. I like the outer zipped pockets – very handy for keeping your camera (it is big enough to accommodate an DSLR) when you want quick access. The bag is available to buy in the stores right now and will also be available online (coach.com) at the end of the month. I want one!
