There was so much happening: DJs on deck, live music provided by a band, karaoke, talks, classes, debates and many other events during the evening until 10pm – all to do with the creative process and ideas for design. The V&A museum is my love and a source of inspiration in the art world, so I went along to participate and engage with fellow art geeks. Since the theme was about ideas I managed to speak to a few creative, talented individuals and likeminded people to explore the subject. Creativity is something I find incredibly appealing and I wanted to learn more about where people draw inspiration from, where they get ideas and how to take it to the next level.
As you will see from the photos, it was very busy evening.
Outside in the John Madejski Garden, they had a pop-up temporary bar which was really quite a brilliant set-up. The bartenders were energetic and kept people entertained while preparing the drinks.
I feel right at home with these boys and girls.
Man on the right makes a friendly, funny face at me.
A fun construction project.
A doodling class I went to where we were given a V&A tote bag and some coloring pens to draw some designs on it. It was massively popular!
And finally, the design I made on my bag. I only had 10 minutes to do it because the class was about to finish off, so I had to pick something simple.
When it was all over at 10pm, I had learnt more about the creative process and made some quirky new friends. I LOVE the V&A but that’s nothing new. I have always loved it.

This looks like so much fun! I haven’t been to the V&A in years!
I’ve been following your blog for a while, (since I saw Fee on Make up Savvy do a post about boys who blog!) and you always take the most amazing photos!
Well, that’s all I wanted to say :)
