I love Burt’s Bees and wear its lip balm every single day. It was purely by chance that I tried it when it was inside a goody bag I got from one catwalk show I attended back in 2011. As someone who spends a lot of time outside in windy conditions and suffers all too often from dry lips, my quest to find the perfect moisturiser is always a must. Peeling skin on your lips is a truly horrible look, and just think that every time you talk to someone, you know they will notice them. Now the trouble with peeling skin on you lips is that even when you use traditional lip balms, you can still see broken skin. This is why I love tinted lip balms, as the colour covers them up and adds a glow. Believe me, it makes a big difference. What’s even better is that the lip balms and glosses are formulated using 100% natural ingredients and the company has a very strict, no testing on animals policy.
I attended the launch of its new lip colour collection recently, as the brand is producing new colours and promising super shine with the launch of its new lip glosses. The glosses will be available in twelve different shades, all inspired by the seasons: Autumn Haze, Fall Foliage, Sweet Sunset, Sunny Day, Ocean Sunrise, Rosy Dawn, Spring Splendour, Summer Twilight, Evening Glow, Ruby Moon, Nearly Dusk, and Starry Night.
Also new are Burt’s Bees’ Lip Shine collection which will be made up of six expression-inspired shades: Whisper, Blush, Wink, Flutter, Pucker and Smooch. The colour glides on your lips, delivering a super shiny finish and nourishing hydration.
