On a typical Sunday evening I would at home being lazy, most likely watching TV or sinking myself in a book. When an invite popped into my mailbox, requesting my attendance at the Istituto Marangoni Graduate Fashion Week show, I jumped at the chance. This wasn’t any ordinary show but a show by one of the world’s best fashion schools and based on the shows I have seen from the Italian school of fashion and design in the past, I knew it was one not to miss. These are difficult times to be a fashion student. Government cutting its funding for students has meant the poorest miss out, and they need our help more than ever. I was delighted to be there in person, along with a number of celebrities – including Donna Air and Amber Le Bon – to be lending my support. Before the show I went backstage to see a team from L’Oréal work its magic on the hair and faces of the models. Watch and enjoy the video below!
