There was a lovely gathering at Aspinal of London’s beautiful flagship store in Mayfair for friends of Aspinal a couple of days ago, in celebration of London Fashion Week. It was an absolute joy to catch up with British luxury lifestyle brand’s Creative Director Mariya Dykalo, who I regard as a special friend. We had a lovely chat about life, posed for some snaps and looked at some bags for the autumn and winter! I have a great deal of respect for her, as she has always been kind to me right from the very beginning when I met her at a press day two years ago. Aspinal has grown a lot since then and is worn by the likes of Pippa Middleton, Olivia Palermo, Fearne Cotton, Caggie Dunlop, Elizabeth Hurley and more.
Glasses of Prosecco, chocolates and cakes (the perfect three combination) were handed out to all guests of the evening and some ladies had their nails polished in gloss (I believe in Aspinal colours). There was a giant white polar bear to mingle with us too!
Tomorrow Aspinal of London will launch a pop-up at House of Fraser’s Oxford Street branch and offer complimentary personalisation on its own products until Friday 26th September 2014. Aspinal of London is gripped by London Fashion Week fever and plans to hide 2,000 owl-faced balloons around central London on Saturday 13th September 2014 and each balloon will have a branded tag offering discounts and great prizes to collect in store.
