I know many of my blog readers will be quite excited about this. Yesterday I was asked to come and have a closer look at the Orla Kiely x Clarks collection. Clarks is working with the highly acclaimed Queen of prints, designer Orla Kiely to create a project utilising her creative talents with the footwear brand’s craftmanship and attention to detail.
Orla is very much loved for the way she employs a combination of colour, pattern and texture with great effects. With the new brands joining forces to work together, it has resulted in a capsule collection for the spring and summer 2014 seasons, with six key styles from high block heel with platform, two beautifully feminine mid-height block heels, a mid-wedge, a slingback with buckle detail and a slingback Mary Jane.
Fans dying to get their hands on these beauties will not have to wait too long, as the collection will be available to buy during February next year.
