An afternoon at Monica Vinader

I spent an afternoon inside the very beautiful Morton’s Club at Berkeley Square, Mayfair a few days ago after being invited over to see some jewellery collections by Spanish designer Monica Vinader. She has long list of admirers including Jodie Kidd, Elle MacPherson, Claudia Schiffer, Olivia Palermo, Ivanka Trump, Cheryl Cole and Keira Knightley – who have all been seen wearing her jewellery. It was not hard to see why.

Having spent time in India, Mexico, Morrocco and across South America, Monica gains her ideas and creativity through her travels. Since launching the brand back in 2002 it has not only gained worldwide recognition but been given the UK Jewellery Brand of the Year award. I really enjoyed viewing many of the pieces I saw – particularly the bracelets as I am a lover of jewels and pearls. There were some precious, well cut stones, to be seen on the necklaces and rings. Rich in colour. Some of them were inspired by the ocean. Last Tuesday Princess Eugenie was spotted wearing Monica’s “Peace” Fiji bracelet during the Diamond Jubilee!
