WHO: Miranda Kerr, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Mia Goth, Odeya Rush, Haley Bennett, Miroslava Duma, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Catherine Deneuve, Jennifer Connelly, Selena Gomez, Sofia Coppola and Michelle Williams led the star studded glamour in Paris – all of them dressed in Louis Vuitton.
WHAT: It was Louis Vuitton’s fashion show for Paris Fashion Week, presenting its spring and summer collection for 2015.

WHERE: Bois de Boulogne of the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
It is Nicolas Ghesquiere’s second collection for the house of Louis Vuitton and by now it is fair to assume he must be feeling quite settled into his new home as the Creative Director. Taking on the job after his predecessor Marc Jacobs was always going to be but he has all the attributes, creativity and experience from his 15 years spell at Balenciaga to carry himself through with great success.
Of all the celebrities in attendance, I cannot quite decide which outfit I liked best. Odeya Rush really stood out for me in her leather neck beautifully decorated coat, and I loved her shoes – particularly the ankle cuffs on them. My favourite outfit though is Haley Bennett’s ensemble from the Resort 2015 collection – the top with leaves and single horizontal white strip going across is a delight.

Just look at that jaw-dropping venue, the Fondation Louis Vuitton, which is an art museum and cultural centre currently under construction and not quite open to the public yet but… will be later this month on the 27th. Designed by the architect Frank Gehry, it certainly is a thing of beauty and looks much like a collection of sails.
