New Look: womenswear for the autumn & winter 2014 (AW14)

On this blog I cover mostly designers and high end brands but due to numerous requests from my blog readers I have also been trying to inject some High Street brands to show you what the trends will be, and what customers will be able to get their hands on in a few months. At the New Look press day, there was a lot to see, much of what really impressed me, particularly for the price you pay and in the post I am showing you some of the best bits. The shoes on preview were gorgeous – in particularly the black ankle boots with zip detail, and the glossy monochrome brogues. What really blew me away where the faux fur coats. They really do look far more expensive then they actually are – you no longer have to break the bank to own a fur coat, or even two or three of them. Glamour is also a strong theme – with many beautiful sparkly pieces on offer including glittering sequinned dresses and clutch bags, and beautiful heels with jewellery. Metallics fans are also in for quite a treat!
