It was very surreal being there, and even more so walking around in so many rooms with nobody around except the lovely Wardens, as this photo was taken behind closed doors, The Palace was not yet open to the public. I was very kindly invited to the sneak preview of the The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace, which is now open to the public from today until the end of September. Words cannot possibly convey how good it feels to be inside, viewing all the grand treasures right in front of your very eyes. I will be pencilling another post covering the opening of The State Rooms very soon!
