More: Taylor Morris was launched in 2013 by lifelong friends Hugo Taylor and Charlie Morris who share a passion and love of unisex eyewear. Aimed towards men and women, built on the tradition of classic designs, they are re-invented and modernised for today’s eyewear collectors. Cara Delevigne, Suki Waterhouse, Jamie Campbell-Bower, Rita Ora, Kimberly Wyatt and Rosie Fortescue are amongst a few celebrities who have been seen wearing sunglasses from the brand.
Hugo is quite the gent. It was my first time meeting him and he really made me feel right at home. Even though it was his big night, he gave me his complete attention and turned the focus on me by asking about my life as fashion blogger. Even introduced me to his close circle of friends! His eyewear collection is delightful – all the pieces are classic designs but with a twist. You always want that little something that makes you think “Oooh that looks interesting.” But expressed in a subtle and effective way. The party itself was wonderful fun – completely packed on the top floor of Harvey Nichols, with lots of interesting guests to mingle with. We drank Rum Sour cocktails and ate red pepper and goats cheese Roulade, Beef Carpaccio and Pink Macaroons. A brilliant night.
