Set in abandoned school classrooms, there are models performing childhood choreographies. With references to the eccentric mind of David Lynch (Twin Peaks), the presentation is drawn through Edeline’s own memories of herself playing the piano as a child when she made a trip to Russia and came across traditional folk outfits.

The models are dressed in graphic, linear, with juxtapositions of fabrics and textures. One woman is dressed in caftan stands swaying under black silk bunting as the haunting lullabies of Christina Wood are heard deep into the rooms surrounding the hallway. It is creepy yet intriguing enough to make you want to see what is coming next. Being inside those rooms was much like stepping into a world of abnormalities and strangeness. I thought it was fascinating.

Watch the video above to get an idea what it was like to be there.
